My Fitness Journey
I started Crossfit at the end of last year because I needed ….something else in my life that challenged me. I have always gone to the gym And by going to the gym I mean using the elliptical for an hour and maybe journeying over into the scary weight lifting section and do a few 10lb dumb bell curls. I would get frustrated with my lack of results. I even approached weight lifting last summer for the first time and saw faster results. But still wasn’t feeling like I was doing enough.
That is when I researched Crossfit on the guru master “Google” and became obsessed with the idea over night. I basically told my husband the next day we were going to try it! I was so excited.
Now Crossfit has given me so much more than I could have ever imagined. It builds me up. It breaks me. It challenges me in ways I never thought possible but yet I want more. I see myself differently now. Stronger, braver, and above all more confident with myself than ever before.
I even wear smaller clothes because of Crossfit 😉
I LOVE lifting heavy barbells above my head, the rush of the jump rope licking your legs, the indescribable feeling of accomplishment when I finish a WOD AND hit a PR!
Crossfit is more than just gym or fitness class it’s a whole loving community that cheers you on even at your weakest and builds you to your strongest.
Crossfit is a journey with no finish line. It’s a journey that I am so very happy to be a part of.
