Somedays can only be made better with a side of fries. Or is that all days?
Who am I kidding? All days are better when fries are involved!
I am one of those who has to portion out these savory salty bastards because I will mindlessly eat the whole batch. And all my hard work on staying fit and healthy will go to waste. So, unfortunately I had about ½ a potatoes worth and it was SUPER hard to stop. I’m proud I did though! Go me!
Now I have all of these leftovers. What to do, what to do?
Guys, can you believe it’s the end of September already! I for one am happy about it being fall. I love it! Is it also weird that I love school supplies? I love it when the stock up on fresh new school supplies at Target. I swear I will purposely go to that section and sniff notebooks. Like I am Rory Gilmore. Just smell the books.
Annnnnyyyywhooo, back to these fries. And not just any fries; these are Smoky Herb Butter Sweet Potato Fries. And they are bangin’.
They are the side comfort food you have been waiting for. Tossed in herb infused ghee, dashed with some smoky paprika, and then baked until crispy.
The smoked paprika gives it almost a baconish flavor. And bacon makes everything better!
What’s even more exciting is that these are Whole30 approved! Yup! You can enjoy these with your jalapeno turkey burgers (bun-less) of course with homemade ketchup!

Being an Indian, we use ghee a lot for cooking but I have never thought of using it to make fries. Sweet potato fries are my favorite and I would just love them a little more with this amazing herb blend.

I just made sweet potato fries yesterday and could not get them crispy as I would like. I cannot wait to try these out! Plus the cayenne and added rosemary sounds amazing. Thank you! I am so glad I stumbled by this.

Mackenzie, try flipping them half way through for a crispier fry. Also, bake a little longer for extra crispiness! Can't wait to hear how you like these!
