    Lazy Girl's Guacamole!

Guacamole is one of those dips that when introduced to a party or get together can be compared to the watering hole where everyone hangs around just constantly dipping their chips or pitas into it. This version of guacamole is my favorite because its healthy and has only 2 ingredients! Yes, just 2 ingredients and you're set!

I make this all the time and always get a ton of compliments and have never let on until now how easy it is to make!

All you need to make this guacamole is 2 ripe avocados and some of your favorite salsa! That's it!

    lg

It may not be the prettiest guac you have ever seen, but it sure is the tastiest! Seriously, this stuff is gone in minutes when I bring it anywhere! I even like to make it for a snack sometimes and spread it on a rice cake or toast!

The average guacamole is notorious for packing large amounts of sodium, this version adds NO salt at all! Even though avocados have fat, they are a healthy fat that should be incorporated in your diet in moderation!

    You Need:

    -2 ripe avocados

-½ cup of your favorite or homemade salsa ( I love using Muir Glen's Garlic Cilantro Salsa! YUM!)

    Directions:

Slice and scoop out avocado from shell and put in a bowl.

    lg1 lg2

Smoosh it ( its the best word I can think of to describe! lol) until smooth.

    lg3

    Add salsa and blend.

    lg4

Serve with  tortilla chips or pita chips!

You can also spread on toast, rice cakes, or top a taco salad with this guacamole as a dressing!

If you have leftover guacamole that you would like to save for later, simple put in opaque container ( helps block out light which will make the avocados brown) and a splash of fresh lime juice to preserve the avocado's green color. 🙂

    Enjoy!

That's a great idea. Nothing lazy about it. Guacamole s so basic to begin with. 🙂 We must be telepathic since I happened to make guacamole too. Great minds!
