    Avocado Egg & Ham Toast

Healthy School Friendly Recipe Series #3:

    Avocado Egg & Ham Toast

School mornings can be a blur. Seriously. It's a whirlwind of trying to coordinate with your spouse, kids, grandma, pets and just as fast as they poured into the kitchen they are gone. And you have no idea if they even had a decent breakfast or any breakfast.

College life can be just as much as a blur in the mornings. You slept in late and you have an exam in 20 minutes. I've been there and you grab a granola bar or nothing and run out the door.

That's why popping a piece of toast in the toaster and spreading some healthy avocado on it takes no time at all! I also like adding an egg and some lean ham for additional protein for brain food throughout the day.

avocado egg & ham toast 2

    You Need:

1 piece of whole wheat toast

    1-2 tbs of avocado

    1 egg

2 oz of Hormel Natural Choice ham

    sea salt

    Directions:

Pop a piece of toast in the toaster

Spread avocado on toast and sprinkle with sea salt

Top with ham and 1 fried egg

    Enjoy!
