    7 Workplace Health Hacks

The office can be a place where your healthy intentions can go awry. There's donuts, vending machines, and even fast food within walking distance!!! You have worked SO hard this year to stick to your resolutions and to throw it away by indulging in that work lunch or office birthday cake. I understand how hard it is. That's why I have a list of healthy hacks for you to think about during your day to stick to your goals!!! Always remember beach bodies are made in the winter!!!

    1. PLAN AHEAD

I couldn't live without my meal plan. It keeps me on track and I actually look forward to my meals. It's like having my own personal menu. I can look ahead and see I am having spaghetti squash and meatballs for dinner and start craving that instead of grabbing something on the way home!

    2. Eat every 3-4 hours

Don't starve yourself throughout the day. It's horrible for your metabolism and you'll have more energy to be productive at work and to tackle your afternoon workout!!

    3. Make yourself accountable!

Tell your co-workers about your healthy lifestyle. It will keep you accountable when you start eyeing the candy jar on someone's desk. It might even start a healthy trend at work. Then everyone will be doing walking lunges to the copy machine!

    4. HYDRATE

I can't tell you how important this is. You NEED to hydrate throughout the day. I keep a 32 oz water bottle with me at all times all day. And I fill it up at least 4 times. It helps keep you full and extremely helpful with weight loss!

    5. Get out of that chair!

Walk around the office a few times every hour or so to get the blood pumping and give yourself a break from staring at the screen. If you have stairs in your office, go up and down the stairs 2-3 times throughout the day to get more steps in!

    6. Keep healthy snacks handy

Always keep an extra snack in your desk or purse at work for emergencies. I'm not much of a snacker but some days it hits me and I need something to ride me over until dinner. I always have a little portioned baggie of almonds or celery sticks.

    7. Take the stairs

If your building has elevators op for taking the stairs. It will be a great way to start the day and extra steps towards your daily goal!
