Can you guys honestly believe that Christmas is THIS weekend?! Like I can’t even…
This whole month has been a blur of shopping (mainly Amazon and Crate and Barrel), present wrapping, birthdays, and taking over the Whole30recipes Social Media this week! SAY WHAT?!
Yes! Please follow their pages and see all the favorites I am sharing! I even have some new holiday recipes (like this one) that are not even published yet here!
Ok, let’s focus.
Like most of you, I plan on opening my doors to family and friends. Cheese boards are usually where its at at a holiday party. But I decided to stick to a healthier version nixing the cheese altogether!
But I kept all my favorites! And it will definitely impress your guests!
The best part? It’s SO easy to throw together and call it fancy.
I ended up with a nut, meat, olives, and fruit combo.
Pretty jeweled pomegranate arils
Crunchy pistachios
Persimmons
A variety of Italian deli meats
Black and green olives
I’m thinking that this would make a great Christmas Eve or Christmas Day appetizer! It’s festive, feeds a crowd, and will keep any snackers you have around satisfied until the main meal. I say win-win!
Ingredients:
-Choose 3-4 compliant deli meats
- Choose 3-4 types of nuts (almonds, pecans, pistachios)
- Choose 2-3 kinds of fruit/veggies
- Choose 2 different kinds of olives
Instructions
Place olives in small bowls on a large board or serving table. Arrange, meats, fruits, vegetables, and nuts around the bowls. Eat!
Simple. Meaty. Nutty. Heaven.
