Today was shoulders and abs day at the gym and boy do I feel it!! Shoulder presses, lateral raises, Delt rows, knee raises, the works!
That's why I knew I need the extra protein today. This protein smoothie is one of my go to ways of getting more protein in without eating meat or nuts. ( sometimes I just don't have the taste for it!) but something sweet and easy to make is always right up my ally!!!
Also, the title of this shake is homage to my all time favorite bands!! Been on a Beatles kick this week!! I have days where I will listen to the same song over and over, or it's a specific band I listen to. What is your favorite band/song of the week? 🙂
Frozen strawberries are blended on high with vanilla almond milk, vanilla protein powder, and chia seeds!
Strawberry Fields Protein Shake
- 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 serving of vanilla protein powder
- 1 teaspoon chia seeds
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- unsweetened coconut shreds for garnish
Blend on High!!!
