Guys, I am so VERY excited about this particular Tuesday.

Why? Because Jake and I celebrated our 4th Wedding Anniversary this past weekend and it was wonderful. We had our coffee date and played in the snow. Coffee is a HUGE deal for us.

    SC7

Not gonna lie, we are kind of coffee snobs. Like we are the wine tasters of the coffee world. Is there such a thing as a coffee tasting? If so, TELL ME.

We kept it local and not as big as last year when we went to the Homestead Resort. SO FUN.

We are actually saving for our first home and I am crossing my fingers that by our anniversary next year we will be having an indoor picnic in our NEW HOUSE for our anniversary (hint:Jake)

AND I am also SO very excited to be sharing with you this Whole30 friendly burger inspired by one of my favorite places growing up: Primanti Bros.

If you haven’t had their famous sandwiches. It’s SO worth the trip. It’s like going to NYC for pizza or Philadelphia for the cheesesteak. It’s a MUST. And for all of you sports fans, there is the original location right outside Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, PA.

My grandmother lived in Pittsburgh most of her life and when we visited. If you didn’t want a sandwich, there was something wrong with you. Like seriously, you got the weird look.

Sandwiches are super big deal there. That’s why it’s not surprising that Primanti’s has been around since the 1930s!

They pile their creation high with homemade Italian bread, tomatoes, homemade slaw, tons of deli meat (or burger patty), and topped with crispy fries! YES! Fries are a must here!

It’s one of those sandwiches that are bigger than your head. But oh so worth it for a treat.

I decided to transform this into a much healthier version and it’s safe to have during your Whole30 too!

These turkey burgers are super simple to make and with all of these toppings how could you not fall in love? #SwitchCircle #JennieO

    Im talkin:

Juicy turkey patties, perfectly seasoned and made with extra lean ground turkey breast from Jennieo

A side of dill pickle slaw- A MUST! Thinly sliced dill pickles, red cabbage, carrots, and ice berg lettuce tossed in homemade mayo –YUM!

Crispy Sweet Potato Straws piled on top! Because of that sweet/salty/crunch effect we all love!

Put all of that on a large boston lettuce leaf or romaine leaf and chomp!

Don’t even think, just make this. You won’t regret it!
