    Cratchit's Cranberry Mimosas

    Jump to Recipe·Print Recipe

Because Cratchit DESERVED a cocktail after all Scrooge put him through right???

This sparkling cranberry infused mimosa will make the best Christmas cocktail for brunch this holiday season!

I have been TRYING to add more drinks here on the blog for a while now. Why? Cause a girl likes to have a cocktail now and then!

This one stems from my love of brunch, cranberry anything, plus the little rosemary stem is a GAME CHANGER. It literally makes this mimosa smell and TASTE like Christmas. No joke.

Have I told you my LOVE of classic literature?

I LOVE curling up on the weekends with a cozy blanket, fireplace remote closeby to keep the fire roaring, and a VERY good book.

Hence, my inspiration for the name of this cocktail. I love Charles Dickens. I love Jane Austen, The Bronte sisters, Emily Dickinson, Tolstoy, Tolkien...but I also love current authors of urban fantasy and lore.

Obviously J.K Rowling but also Sarah Maas, Karen Marie Moning, and Veronica Roth.

Honestly, my favorite weekends are spent lost in their worlds.

Just like I am lost in this Christmas Cocktail with dreams of cranberries, citrus, and booze dancing in my head.

See what I did there? Perfect transitions. She is flawless. She has confidence. She is day drinking.

Just equal parts sparkling wine or champagne with orange juice then a splash of cranberry juice.

Plus a rosemary sprig. This is essential. This is a must. It is MANDATORY.
