    The Kitcheneer’s Weekly Meal Plan {Week 3}

Hi guys! How was everyone’s weekend? Ours was pretty low key…which is how I like it.

Friday we decided to go to our favorite Mexican place (i.e. the place where I can get the real La Flaka salad!) Which as always was delicious! Then we went star gazing in the backyard...or should I say Jupiter gazing? It was a clear night so we were able to see Jupiter and 4 of its moons! How cool is that?! Winter is the best time to see Jupiter so go out and look at the stars! A great date idea for this coming Valentine's Day if you ask me! 😉

Saturday we did some house stuff (laundry, pick things up, etc.) and watch some more Dexter 🙂 Doolittle supervised.

    Doolittle

Sunday was absolutely gorgeous! It was such a tease! It was almost 70 degrees outside! Now it’s back down to the 40’s and dropping…gotta love Virginia.

We planted tulip bulbs outside (I hope they come out nice!)

Then Jake rotated the tires on my car, changed the oil, and put new wind shield wiper blades on his truck. I love my handy man!

I hung outside with him and read my book. I am reading Twilight again…don’t judge. I LOVE this book just not the movie. I also love to indulge in my “candy” books every so often. “Candy” books are books that are a bit silly, usually page turners, and can be quickly read. Just like popping a piece of candy in your mouth! 😉

Did you create a meal plan? If so, tell me about it!

Here is what we are chowing down on this week:

    Monday:

Breakfast: 1 egg plus 5 egg whites, 4 halved cherry tomatoes, 1 oz of goat cheese scrambled

     Snack: Blood Orange

     Lunch: Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup

Snack: ¼ cup unsalted mixed nuts plus 1 tbs of raisins

Dinner: Dara’s Turkey Meatloaf Muffins with green beans and Cauliflower Mash!

    Tuesday:

     Snack: Larabar

Lunch: Antipasto Salad ( coming soon!)

Snack: 2 tbs almond butter with celery

You are so on top of things. I know I say this all the time but I really do need to try and get myself a weekly plan together! Great options.

Seriously, almost 70!? So jealous. That sounds like just the kind of weekend I like. And the meal plan sounds great, but I want to start right now with that BBQ rubbed salmon blt salad - yum!

Sounds like you had a very productive weekend. I wish I was organized enough to make a meal plan for even two days much less a week!
