I have all my patio garden babies I look at everyday while I work from home. I am also at war with slugs and deer.
Or have you gone cray like Koda?
The deer have chewed my pretty roses down to twigs and my dahlias were destroyed due to slugs! I managed to save my daises and one rose bush though!
Any ways I had a TON of basil on hand. So that means pesto!
I love having pesto on hand ALWAYS (being brought up in an Italian household- this is IMPORTANT stuff). Sauces and pestos are mandatory and they must be made from scratch!

Basically this Whole30 pesto comes together in about 5 minutes. YUP. 5 minutes.
Throw the basil, rosemary, dill, thyme, parsley, pine nuts, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, and nutritional yeast in a food processor and give it a quick whirl!
Toss with a salad (as the dressing)
Mix in with spaghetti squash and grilled chicken (SO GOOD)
Stir in with cauliflower rice or make it into a marinade for chicken, fish, or steak!
Or if not doing a Whole30, toss it with some pasta!
